Why Roger for Submittals?
AI can make submittal review easier. But the hard part is who’s managing the AI: junior engineers, carrying millions of dollars of responsibility, under unrelenting schedule pressure. Roger owns submittal review from start to finish, so it’s substantially off the PE’s plate.

What does Roger do?
Submittal Setup.
Log built from drawings and specs. Roger handles Assignments, Procore/Forma upload, workflows, packaging, and removal of irrelevant submittals.
Product Data Review.
Every submittal is checked against drawings, specs, RFIs, previous submittals, project team rules, and any other contract documents. Roger automatically rejects the most noncompliant submittals.
Shop Drawing Review.
Increasingly thorough scope, dimension, and compliance review for shop drawings. Always routed to PM teams for a second look.
Substitutions.
silent substitutions automatically detected, and sent back to subcontractors with a compliance summary and a request for a substitution request.
Packaging.
Roger adds your cover sheet, stamps of your choice, submittal markup, comments, and a recommendation to each document.
Submission.
Roger submits low-risk submittals directly to design. High risk submittals always get a second look from PM teams.
The Roger Warranty.
Roger stamps every deliverable.
We bill only once the submittal process is materially complete.
Unhappy? We’ll surrender our fee.

How Roger Runs Submittals
Kickoff.
At GMP, you share drawings & specs, trade list, your submittal procedures, and your schedule.
Build the Log.
Every required submittal is logged, assigned, workflow’d, and live in your system 1 week post-kickoff.
Review and Stamp.
AI + a Roger PM checks each submittal and shop for conformance to contract documents and other submittals.
Submit.
Packages go to the design team, reviews are tracked, resubmittals are flagged. Complex submittals go to project team for additional review.
Distribute.
Roger routes approved submittal to you for final review and final distribution.
How is it priced?
You’re billed on completion, with our fee at stake. As our AI gets faster, the hours shrink and so does your bill.
Our earliest submittal partner pays 80% less per submittal than when they started.
FAQ
Why would we trust someone else with submittal review?
When compared to a standard project team, Roger makes half as many mistakes and cuts contractor BIC time by 75%. Key submittals and shops are still routed to project team for additional review.
Why Not Use Claude? It Gets Better Every Day.
You can, and plenty of PEs get real submittal value from foundation models/ConTech software providers. But the models change every few months, and getting the most out of each one takes constant rework/change management, which projects struggle to do. Roger rebuilds its submittal workflows around every new release, so our quality and price improve quarter after quarter without your team lifting a finger.
If Our PEs Don’t Do Submittals, How Will They Learn?
Managing construction and managing documents are two entirely different jobs. Too often, PEs are stuck doing the second at the expense of the first. When Roger deploys to a job, PEs can get into the field, learn the project’s finances, and build relationships with trade partners. There’s plenty of real work to do in construction; we give PEs time to do it.
How Does Stamping Work?
At the customer’s discretion, Roger adds either a Roger stamp or a GC stamp to each submittal cover page.
If it’s Roger’s, the stamp includes a phone number and email address that subcontractors & designers can use if issues arise.
How fast is submittal review with Roger?
36 hours from receipt of a complete package to stamped. The log is live within 1 week of GMP, and project teams get a performance review weekly. Unfortunately, nobody can control the architect’s review time.
How Does Roger Interface With Subs & Architects?
Project stakeholders experience Roger as an additional team member. We accept subcontractor submittals either via Procore/Forma or email. We can maintain multiple systems-of-record for you, your owner, and your architect. Nobody changes how they submit or review.
